Rachel Morris

Rachel Morris

Year 3 Teacher and Year Leader

Rachel is from Wales, United Kingdom where she received her BA (Hons) Primary Education degree at Swansea Metropolitan University in 2008. Rachel was fortunate to begin her teaching career in London teaching Year One. Rachel then continued to develop her career further by moving to Cairo to start her first international post as a Year Two teacher. After five years with many positions in management including Deputy Head, Rachel took the opportunity to move to Dubai where she was Head of EYFS and KS1.

Rachel decided the next step would be a move to China and decided Shanghai was the perfect fit as it is a diverse, vibrant and welcoming city. Rachel was aware of the good reputation NAIS Pudong has and she wanted to gain more experience and progress further in her career with a more established school.

Rachel enjoys watching movies, listening to music and reading a good book to relax. She tries to keep fit as often as possible by going swimming or to the gym. Rachel likes to play golf and is working hard to lower her handicap. She has begun to make patchwork quilts. Her main interest is to travel the world and goes to a new place at any given opportunity. Rachel is looking forward to visiting more countries in the near future and she is especially excited to see what Shanghai has to offer.
