Ghulam has been teaching for ten years. After completing his degree in Computing, he trained for his PGCE in the UK. After graduating, Ghulam taught at a secondary school in Sheffield for a number of years. In 2013, he decided to teach internationally, taking himself and his family to Qatar in the Middle East. For the next couple of years, he taught at Secondary level which included KS3, KS4 and IB.
In September 2015, he moved from Qatar and take up a position at the Nord Anglia International School, Shanghai. The move came as no surprise because he always wanted to work in China and especially Shanghai. But as well as this, working at a Nord Anglia School made the move even more special.
Ghulam is a keen traveller as has visited many countries in Europe and Asia. He enjoys following international cricket, a passion which has been with him since childhood. Ghulam says one of the nice things about having travelled is the opportunity to have tasted great food and bring all the styles into his cooking.
