Clubs and activities offer opportunities for students to take on new challenges, work with different people, and develop their confidence and self-esteem through what they achieve; developing interests and talent in a broad range of sports, performance, community, expressive and academic clubs.
Our co-curricular activities programme offers over 135 different activities for students to get involved in outside of the academic curriculum. It is an integral and essential aspect of the education offered here and encourages independence, perseverance and commitment. The programme enriches and enhances learning and understanding of our students and ensures that the school remains a vibrant and dynamic environment in which to work and learn.
Our school is proud of the diverse range of opportunities which are designed to develop interests and talents in a broad range of sports, performance, community, expressive and academic clubs. Whether students are involved in Manga Art, Jazz Ensemble, Kung Fu or Lego Engineering, Swimming or Debating, we encourage students to develop and demonstrate originality, skill and confidence.
This emphasis on a rich and diverse co-curricular programme throughout the school is based on the conviction that individuals thrive in an environment in which all abilities and talents are recognised and nurtured. Global and social responsibilities are also a great focus with flagship CCAs in Model United Nations and our Global Challenge Committees. Chinese culture also features giving students the opportunity to try ancient creative arts like calligraphy or try their hand at making dumplings.
The range of exciting activities encourages staff to inspire and engage pupils, enabling them to discover and pursue new passions and to develop greater self-confidence and self- awareness
