Clubs and activities offer opportunities for students to take on new challenges, work with different people, and develop their confidence and self-esteem through what they achieve.
Co-curricular activities are complementary to the curriculum and an integral part of your child's learning and development. We host over 135 different activities for students to get involved in outside of the academic curriculum. They are an essential part of your child's education, encouraging independence, perseverance and commitment. The CCA programme enriches and enhances your child's learning and understanding and ensures that the school remains a vibrant and dynamic environment in which to work and learn.
Teachers of these activities echo the philosophy of the school and encourage students to develop and demonstrate originality, skill and confidence.
This emphasis on a rich and diverse co-curricular programme throughout the school is based on the conviction that individuals thrive in an environment in which all abilities and talents are recognised and nurtured. Global and social responsibilities are also a great focus with flagship CCAs in Model United Nations and the Tanzania trip. Chinese culture also features, giving students the opportunity to try ancient creative arts like calligraphy or try their hand at making dumplings.
The range of exciting activities encourages staff to inspire and engage pupils, enabling them to discover and pursue new passions and to develop greater self-confidence and self- awareness.
