Staff Profile: June Yao

June Yao

Exams Officer & PA to Principal

June graduated from East Normal University where she gained her bachelor degree in software engineering. She worked as a programmer for one year and input a lot with her team in two projects. It’s a great experience for her- totally different from her current job but made her achieve a friendly/open attitude to technologies/new arising stuff.

June gained her teaching qualification in university. She spent a lot of time with different aged children for different education needs. The amazing interaction with young groups finally helped her make the decision to take up a career in education.

June has a wide range of interests, including badminton, tennis, cooking, outdoor activities such as picnic with family, cycling with friends in countryside. She practices hard to improve her swimming skills since last summer and she’s making progress. She is a great lover of photography, including iphotography. She speaks some Japanese and now she’s self-studying German for a challenge.
