Staff Profile: Christina Fürstenau

Christina Fürstenau

Admissions Advisor

Christina grew up in a small city near Hamburg in the north of Germany. After completing the equivalent of A-levels (having also spent an IB year in the UK) she moved near to Cologne to complete a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management. During her first degree, exciting internships included a 5-star Ritz-Carlton hotel in Ireland and a 4-star Best Western Premier hotel in Hamburg. Having completed a Sales & Marketing traineeship in one of the most prestigious hotel chains in the world – the Oetker Collection – after her Bachelor studies, she decided to learn more about Marketing and moved to Leeds in the north of the UK, to complete a MSc in International Marketing Management.

Subsequently she started working for a travel company and successfully expanded their business into the German market.

Christina joined the Admissions team in August 2016 to be part of an inspiring school environment that enables personalised learning and empowers students to achieve academic success.

Christina is motivated by new challenges and inspired by different cultures. She enjoys travelling the world with friends and family, as well as cooking and learning more about international cuisines. Her favourite hobbies are painting and Pilates and all things creative.

Above all, Christina treasures time spent with her friends and family and enjoys social events.
