    Katie Riordan

    Katie’s broad experience in education takes her from early years right through to tertiary, where she spent a few years lecturing student teachers on her specialist area of early childhood education and development. With a Diploma of Teaching from the New Zealand College of Early Childhood Education, and a Bachelor of Education from Massey University, NZ, early years education has always been her passion.  Katie enjoys guiding the youngest learners to drive their own learning through rich exciting experiences of exploration, discovery and play. Katie also has a passion for writing, and has published a resource book for early years teachers as well as numerous magazine articles and columns on parenting and related issues.

    Pippa Proust

    Pippa completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Sussex, UK, where she developed an interest in child development. Following this she moved to Cambridge to take an MPhil in Social and Developmental Psychology, focusing on contemporary issues in child development. It was during this time that Pippa developed her interest in education and made the decision to train to be a teacher. She completed her P.G.C.E. at the University of Cambridge, UK and took a position working at a village school in Cambridgeshire. She has taught in both Key Stages.

    Jacqui studied Psychology at the University of Manchester where she gained her Bachelor of Science degree.  Having developed a love of outdoor activities during her time at Manchester she then spent 18 months travelling around the world, exploring and developing her interests.

    Kelly Phillips

    Kelly graduated with a degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University in 2006.  After taking classes in Educational and Child Psychology she decided to switch her focus to teaching.  After teaching ESL for three years in South Korea, Kelly moved to Queensland, Australia to acquire her Masters in Teaching at Griffith University.  She graduated at the top of her class, and wrote her dissertation on motivation in the literacy curriculum.  Kelly has experience teaching the Australian, Canadian and British curriculum from her seven years of living abroad.

    Freely Foster

    Freely Foster graduated from South China Normal University in 2005 with the equivalent of a First Class Degree in English education for primary and secondary schools. Freely is a qualified teacher in both China and the UK. She taught at a prestigious Chinese boarding school in Guangdong province before relocating to the UK. Before moving back to Shanghai she spent four years teaching in London and the South East of England.
