Staff Profile: Jonathan Fudge

Jonathan graduated from Durham University with a BA Honours degree in Sport, Health and Exercise Science.  Upon graduation Jonathan began his PGCE at the University of East Anglia.  Jonathan began his teaching career at Wymondham High School as a Physical Education teacher.  He left Wymondham High School to take up a role as School Sports Co-ordinator at Wayland Academy.  Jonathan was then promoted to the role of Head of House, combining this with teaching Physical Education.

Jonathan takes real pride in the achievements of his pupils, most notably he enjoyed success with School rugby teams in various county and national competitions. He looks forward to continuing the success that BISS Puxi rugby teams have enjoyed and developing this as a real strength of the school.

Jonathan enjoys all aspects of sport, including football and golf, and he has played rugby and cricket to county level in England as well as coaching to the same level.  Jonathan also completed the Dublin Marathon for charity in 2012.  Jonathan arrives with his wife Kimberley and they are both looking forward to exploring all that China and Shanghai in particular has to offer.
