Petrina Booth

Petrina Booth

Year 3 Leader

Petrina trained at Roehampton University, UK, for a Bachelor of Education degree with a music specialism. Petrina has lived in China since August 2014, with her first three years at The British School of Beijing, Sanlitun; another Nord Anglia Education school. Since joining Nord Anglia, she has completed the Middle Leadership Programme including a research project for integrating iPad technology which supported her role as the Computing subject leader. Petrina has also been part of the partnership for developing the STEAM subjects with MIT in Boston. Petrina is excited to join BISS Puxi, as the school has an excellent reputation and outstanding facilities which will allow her to continue this work.

Petrina has experience in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 and was previously also a Music Coordinator, which involved arranging a variety of musical events including taking choirs to sing at the Royal Festival Hall, London. Originally born in New Zealand, Petrina comes from a large family of which she is the youngest. Petrina’s father inspired her to have an open minded love of travel and exploring the world; this has, in turn, provided her with the desire to grasp all opportunities that come her way with both hands.
