Sarah graduated from the University of Manchester, UK, with a BSocSci degree in Sociology. After sending time in Africa, Sarah began her teaching career in a Year 4 classroom in a school in Derby, England. After her first year she was moved to Year 6, where she has taught ever since. During her time at that school she held a number of positions of responsibility including Lead Teacher, Year 6 Lead and Science Coordinator. In 2015 Sarah decided to move to London and took on a role a large school in central London, continuing to teach in Year 6.
Sarah has a love of travel and has spent many months abroad working at summer camps in the US, volunteering on projects in China, Cambodia and Tanzania, and backpacking across the globe. She has decided to take on a new challenge and is excited to join BISS Puxi. After living in London for two years and loving life in a bustling city, she is eager to explore the fascinating city of Shanghai.
Sarah is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys running; regularly competing in 5k, 10k and 10 mile distances, as well as participating in boot camp classes. She has danced since a young age and is trained in ballet, tap and modern. Sarah enjoys reading, cooking and exploring where she lives – she is very excited to learn about China and Asia.
