Holly gained a 2.1 degree with honours at the University of Sheffield, graduating in the summer of 2010. She then transferred to Sheffield Hallam to undertake her teacher training, gaining a PGCE in secondary English.
Holly believes in modelling learning for her students and understands the importance of developing her own practice, which is why she is currently completing a Master’s degree in Education.
After working in a school in rural Northamptonshire for three years, she decided she would like a new challenge in an exciting environment. It was this that brought her to Shanghai.
Holly enjoys reading both classic novels and modern literature, and travelling to new places to experience different cultures. In the past couple of years she has also taken up hockey, and whilst she is still improving, she relishes working as part of a team. Holly is very much looking forward to beginning her new life here in Shanghai.
What the students say about me...
