    Ann-Marie Clifford-Flower

    Head of Maths

    Ann-Marie Clifford-Flower

Ann-Marie joins us in August 2016 as Head of Maths from Saint Joseph’s School, Launceston. She enjoys focussing and tailoring her teaching as this flexibility allows students to reach their own true potential. Mathematics as a compulsory subject is not always everyone’s favourite but if it is made fun and interesting it will allow all students to leave school believing that they have the skills they need for future life! Whilst living in other countries around the world including China, Germany and Mexico, her family have had the opportunity to mix with many different people and to gain an understanding of different cultures. She is keen to nurture in her own children and develop in her teaching and extra-curricular programmes a greater understanding of the world.

    Mathematics Teacher

    April Rudd

April attended the University of York studying Economics BSc (Hons) and became involved in wider university life by playing lacrosse and being a college representative for the Volunteering Society. Having completed her training at Woolmer Hill School in Haslemere, April then secured a job there where she took on such responsibilities as Maths International Schools Co-ordinator and joined the Teaching and Learning Steering Group, concentrating on creating and implementing new initiatives in teaching. To give herself a new challenge and push her outside of her comfort zone, April took the job at BISS Puxi so that she could combine her love for discovering new cultures with her passion for teaching mathematics.
