The Application Process

Our school admissions process is outlined below. Just follow the steps and our Admissions Office will be in contact with you to answer any questions you may have.

Complete an Application Form

If you have already decided that Dover Court International School is the best place for your child, then please complete and send a completed application form to admissions@dovercourt.edu.sg This can be downloaded on the link below.

Please refer to our Personal Information Collection Statement for information on DCIS personal data privacy protection.

In order to make the application process as quick as possible, it is also helpful to submit the following:

  • Completed Application Form with a recent passport-style photo of each student 
  • Copies of school reports for the previous 24 months (a certified English translation is required for reports not originally issued in English)
  • Any documentation relating to any past, current or future additional services provided to your child For example, an IEP/ISP; educational-psychological evaluation; speech and language reports; OT reports; etc
  • A copy of the passport ID page for the student and each parent (for non-Singapore citizens/permanent residents)
  • Copies of the front and back of the student and parent Employment and Dependent’s Passes
  • Re-entry permit of child (for Singapore permanent residents)
  • For Singapore citizens, a copy of the student’s birth certificate/citizenship/Singapore NRIC
  • A DCIS Student Questionnaire is requested of all students applying to Year 3 and above. There is an optional section for students applying to Nursery to Year 2. A handwriting sample from applicants to Upper Primary and Secondary Schools is also acceptable

Please be aware that as we are not currently EduTrust certified, we cannot accept students on a student pass or long term visit pass.

Requested Admissions Item

  • A letter is requested from the parent detailing any particular skills, talents, achievements or interests (e.g. musical, sports, arts, ICT, etc.) and any other information which may be helpful for your child’s transition into DCIS

We have created a welcoming warm environment for all children at Dover Court International School, and we recommend that you experience this atmosphere for yourself. 

Contact us to book a guided school tour and our admissions team will be available to answer any questions you may have about our curriculum, activities or facilities.

What year will my child be in?

We find that children thrive in their correct class age groups. Our differentiated teaching accommodates students who need support and stretches the more able. Students must have reached the entry age below, before the 1st September of the year of admission:
