Three students from Dover Court International School have been selected to attend the Nord Anglia Education Global Orchestra in New York this June.
We are extremely proud to announce the students who have been selected to go to New York and participate in the Nord Anglia Education Global Orchestra – a fantastic opportunity that any musical child could only dream of.
All students have been chosen as musical ambassadors to represent Dover Court International School, Singapore.
The first process involved students auditioning in school on their chosen instrument or voice. Five students were then selected by our Music department to go through to a judging panel. From this, three students were selected by Nord Anglia Education to take part in the Global Orchestra in New York in June.
Here they will participate in a Music summer school for one week which will culminate in a Global Orchestra performance at the end of the week. Whilst being in New York, students will also take part in sightseeing tours and will have a trip to the theatre, as well as visiting Julliard for a half day workshop.
Felix, Christopher and Sotaro have done fantastically well in getting through all the audition processes, so a big well done to them and all the other students whom auditioned.
