One-stop-shop for DCIS parents to access all school-based information

Dear DCIS Parents and Guardians,

We are pleased to announce the official launch of the Dover Court App, providing a one-stop-shop for DCIS parents to access information which previously required multiple clicks and awkward navigation. Now, you literally have at the tip of your fingers the school’s main phone numbers, email addresses for all essentials contacts and dozens of other important services. The app is available on Google Play and the App Store.

To begin with, there is link to our webpage with a complete directory of all DCIS staff, from the Senior Leadership Team to teachers, from subject specialists to administrative staff. We also have a viewable version of the Parent Handbook, uniform information, and a complete classroom list.

The app also contains the full school calendar, including term dates and holidays for both the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years as well as a link to all our news sites, from the school blog to the monthly newsletter, from the Primary School Weekly Roundup to newsletter subscription for new parents.

The Social tab is the gateway to all of our social media sites, from Facebook to twitter, instagram to YouTube and much more. In addition, the e-learning tab directly links to the Global Campus, Skoolbo, Myimaths and Edmodo.

There are also links to our bus services, school menus, as well as in-depth information on the DCA Parent Association and access to CHQ, our site to cover all your ECA matters, from log-in to registration.

Finally, there is an Orientation tab which links to all necessary parent forms, from the Family Contact Information to the Parent ID Registration Form.

We know you will find this app useful to resolve many of your daily questions, from this week’s cafeteria menu to ECA sign-ups. As always, we welcome your comments and suggestions, as we will review, revise and improve our app with regular updates.
