Upper Primary MIT STEAM Challenge Assembly with 4SK and 4RB: Greener Skies

Year 4RB and 4SK gave an assembly all about STEAM.

4RB and 4SK started by educating students on what STEAM stands for and they then explained all about their attempt to tackle the first MIT Challenge: Greener Skies.

MIT have challenged our students to come up with potential solutions to global concerns. and the Greener Skies challenge explores the increased demand for air travel and new plane designs. (The increased level of pollution facing our planet from the aviation industry is a global issue, especially as the number of passengers is set to double or even triple by 2050.)
