In a gesture of amazing solidarity, Max (7C) decided to shave his hair off to support a 15 year old young lady, Olivia Phelan.

She is a family friend of his father William and has been tragically identified with a cancerous tumour in January of this year.

Max has never met Olivia, but was very moved by her current situation and wanted to raise money and provide support for her and her family.

Despite undergoing brain surgery it was not possible to remove all of the tumour and she is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Max's entire family have done this in support as you can see from the photo with Max, his younger brother and their shaven heads.

Max said, "I did it because a girl I know lost all her hair and I didn’t want her to feel alone.”
