Why should I choose Dover Court for my child’s education?

Your child will become an inspired and able learner, who is able to think for themselves and take charge of their own education.

Your child will develop self-confidence and an understanding of their role in the wider world.

Our small class sizes let us spend more time with each child, bringing personalised education to each student.

Special teacher/student relationships are at the heart of school life and the smaller size of our classes facilitates the personalised approach to education.

Our welcoming school environment promotes the core concept of developing a happy, confident, empathic and socially mature young adult

How will my child learn?

The Secondary School years are a particularly important time in your child's life. These are important time for influencing the crucial decisions your child will make about their future and the role that they will play in the world. We work closely with every student and their families, to provide the personal guidance and support needed to ensure a successful transition as they progress through the school.

The English National Curriculum forms the basis for the content of our challenging program of study. It builds on prior learning and prepares your child to explore in greater depth the concepts, processes and skills of specific subjects.

Our curriculum offers a thematic approach to education which brings learning to life for your child. The program offers a lively and motivational approach which makes your child love coming to school every day and helps them to develop greater confidence in their learning and its relevance to their world.

What curriculum will they follow?

In the Secondary School your child will follow a combined curriculum taking elements from the English National Curriculum, adapted to suit the needs of international students. We believe that your child's learning should be both enjoyable and personal, and our curriculum reflects this.

The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (iGCSE) is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 16 year olds. It is recognised by leading colleges, universities and employers worldwide. The IGCSE offers an international passport to progression and success.
