Year 5 to Secondary Trip Information Meetings

An exciting array of trips have been organised for students in Years 5 to Year 11. To give parents in these year groups the opportunity to learn more about the dates, itinerary and activities, we have arranged a series of information evenings with DCIS staff and a representative from Rustic Pathways. These meetings will occur as follows (all located in Cooper Hall):

YEAR 5: Thursday 22nd September, 6.00pm – 7.00 pm

YEAR 6: Monday 19th September, 5.30pm – 6.30pm

YEAR 7: Monday 19th September, 6.30pm – 7.30pm

YEAR 8/9: Tuesday 20th September, 5.30pm – 6.30pm

YEAR 10/11: Tuesday 20th September, 6.30pm – 7.30pm

Shakespeare Flash Mob

In the next two weeks, the Year 7 & 8 Drama Students will be completing their Drama challenge in the form of a flash mob. They will take place around break times and lunchtimes on campus. In small class groups, students will break out in certain areas around the school and perform parts of their Shakespeare monologues. So if Juliet calls for her Romeo on the climbing frame, or if Lysander is searching for his love Hermia in the secret garden or if Puck starts to chatter away to you in the cafeteria - please stop, stare and give a big smile!

Best regards,

Mr. Christopher Short
Principal
