This year, DCIS will be celebrating Christmas with a number of events across the community:

1. Carols by Candlelight, Thursday, 1st December and Friday, 2nd December from 6.30pm - 8.30pm in Cooper Hall

All families are invited to attend the Carols by Candlelight; however, due to space limitations we do ask families of Year 3 and Year 4 students to attend on the Thursday and families of Years 5 and above to attend on the Friday. Students from Year 3 and above will be performing the same pieces each evening and Lower Primary families are welcome to attend either event. Click to read more about the Carols by Candlelight.

2. DCA Christmas Fair, Saturday, 10th December, 4.00pm - 7.00pm

3. Lower Primary Christmas Performances (Nursery to Year 2)

Please note that there has been a slight calendar change to the Lower Primary Christmas Performances for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. They will have their own separate Christmas assemblies on:

DCA Updates and DCIS Parent Representatives

While there are no specific DCA events this week, our next event will be the DCA Christmas Fair on 10th December. Please remember that you can click here to see all updates on the DCA web page. We have also updated the list of DCA class representatives and even have a link to the DCA Meeting Minutes.

Please do also need to refer all parents to the DCIS DCA Class Representatives Guidelines. Our parents and class parents give a great deal of time and positive energy to our school, and it is important that all parents realise that they are not a vehicle of parent feedback to the School. Any concerns about aspects of DCIS are not to be brought to or raised in DCA meetings or with Class Representatives.

The DCIS Communication Pathway is outlined on page 16 of the Parent Handbook as:

Primary School Communication Pathway

Parent Query: Teacher - Year Group Leader – Deputy Head – Head of Primary – Principal

Secondary School Communication Pathway
