Our youngest students will be taking to the stage for the the Lower Primary Christmas production from Wednesday and the annual Christmas Fayre promises to be fun for the whole family on Saturday.

We hope that you all have an enjoyable week and we look forward to seeing you at school to join in the festive fun!

Year 7 - Year 9 Tic Tac Toe Homework

Tic Tac Toe Homework packs for Term 1 for Secondary School students in Year 7 to Year 9 are attached below and will be shared with students and parents this week. The Tic Tac Toe packs are also available from our Secondary School (Years 7 - 11) webpage.

Lunch Service: Sodexo

As previously communicated the main cafeteria is not accepting cash payments, but the DCIS Café will continue to accept cash. Although, the cash facility in the DCIS Café is really designed to accommodate parents for occasional use, we recommend that all students are signed up for a Campus Online account. This limits cash on site and allows parents to track purchases that students make during the day through their Campus Online accounts. You can access the Campus Online page at this link.

CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION 2017/18

  • We have been incredibly impressed with all the entries that we received and thank you to all who took part in the competition. The judging process was a very difficult task because of the high standard but we have chosen 5 winning school entries for each age category.

  • The top 5 entries in each age category have now been sent to our partner school (The Village School, Houston, Texas) for further judging.

  • They will decide the top entry for each age category and these entries will be shortlisted for publication in the Creative Writing & Visual Arts Anthology.

  • Essentially, each school will have 3 winning students, one per age category. In addition, there will be three overall winners from across the NAE family of schools.

  • There will also be 3 highly commended winners per age category as voted for by our judges, as well as a Judge’s Choice award.

  • Thank you once again for taking part and we will keep you updated.

 PHOTOGRAPHERS OF THE YEAR COMPETITION

  • Thank you again to all who participated in the competition! Our judges remarked that they had an incredibly difficult time shortlisting and choosing the winning entries given the multitude of fantastic photographs received.

  • Please stay tuned as we will be announcing the shortlisted, highly commended, and winning entries in next week's Global campus Bulletin.

Have a great week all. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any queries you may have!

Many thanks,

The Global Campus Team
