Staff Profile: Ms Kara Lebihan

Kara Lebihan

Head of Primary School

Kara Lebihan has a degree from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and 23 years of experience in education. She has worked for Nord Anglia Education since 2011 and re-joined Dover Court International School in 2015 from The British School in Beijing.

Kara's teaching career began in 1992 in Newcastle, in the north east of England, and since then she has worked in a wide range of schools, including state and independent schools, both in the UK and Australia, and in international schools in Hong Kong, Singapore and China. In Beijing, Kara was heavily involved in curriculum design and developing pastoral systems within the school.

Kara is no newcomer to Dover Court International School, having taught Year 4 and Year 5 at the school from 1997-2002. She is delighted to have returned and is greatly looking forward to working with the team to further develop the Primary School. Kara is joined by her son Hugh entering in Year 7 and her husband.
