Ms Kiara Gray

Kiara Gray

Deputy Head of Lower Primary

Kiara gained her Bachelor of Primary Education at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and then went on to get her Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.

As a part of her university course, Kiara was given the opportunity to teach in a rural farm setting and in South Africa’s most famous township, Soweto. These experiences helped foster her love and passion for teaching children.  After qualifying, she went to the UK and taught Years 2, 3 and 5. Whilst in the UK she achieved her Qualified Teacher Status and Overseas Trained Teacher certification.

After 4 years in the UK, Kiara felt ready for a new adventure and came to Singapore to work at a language centre which provided an interesting insight into Singapore schooling. She was then fortunate enough to be offered the position at Dover Court. After six very happy years as a Year 2 teacher, Kiara will be teaching Year 1.

She is Deputy Head of Primary, in addition to her class teaching responsibilities.
