Staff Profile: Daniel Whisby

Daniel Whisby

ICT and Computer Science Teacher

Daniel has Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music as well as his PGCE training in Secondary Music from Bath Spa University.

 

After completing his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music at Bath Spa University, Daniel stayed on to complete his PGCE training in Secondary Music.  He plays a range of instruments including the trumpet, bass guitar and also sings in a variety of different genres.  After four years of teaching music at a school in Gloucester he moved to the ICT and Computing department and has recently gained a BCS Certificate in Computer Science Teaching.  Daniel has taught a range of different course in both specialisms to A-level standard and is keen to get pupils into computing at Dover Court from an early age.  Daniel is also a technology and sports enthusiast.  If he’s not making birdies on the golf course or scoring goals on the football pitch you can be sure to find him playing with computer components and robots!
