Jonathan Leow has been involved in education for over 13 years, and has taught in schools in Malaysia and Singapore. He has extensive experience in international education as a teacher and as a Head of department with International Baccalaureate and National curriculum.
Jonathan specialises in teaching Mandarin, both for native speakers and as a foreign language. He has a Master’s degree of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature from Nanjing University in China and a Diploma of Chinese Language Education from National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He has been involved in establishing a number of schools, and his participation of setting Mandarin curriculum and teaching is well recognised. He also has presented workshops and had teaching articles published.
Jonathan received several awards from his previous schools and one was the Merit Award for his entry 'The Use of an Authentic Video Clip to Enhance Oral Communication Skills' in the Teachers' Category for the School Digital Media Awards organised by the Ministry of Education of Singapore.
In his spare time, he loves travelling with his family members to enhance his knowledge and widen his perspective of different countries.
