Ms Sue Hill Weekly Update 6/11/2015

Dear Parents,

At play, children take learning into their own hands. Using their own ideas, they create, collaborate, and solve problems. Environments and relationships that create an atmosphere of trust, while providing positive and engaging experiences, are necessary for healthy, developmental play therefore creating the appropriate environments for children is very important. This applies to the classroom but also to shared learning areas, corridors and, indeed to a child’s home environment.
In Foundation Stage 3 and Year 1, the teachers and teaching assistants have put their creative and professional experiences together and done a fabulous job of transforming the shared learning area into a stimulating environment with multiple learning activities for our young learners.
