Giving a strong presence from our BIS community at the 3rd BBGV Fun Run!

The British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV) has organised a Fun Run in HCMC for many years. Last year was only the second time the event had been held in Hanoi, however over 4,000 people took part and 16,000  USD was raised for Save The Children International to help the project “Emergency relief for people affected by the floods in Central Region”. This year, the BBGV Fun Run will be held on 5th November at Ecopark and is expected to welcome 6,000 participants.

The event is aimed at supporting various BBGV Charities and BIS Hanoi will be key sponsors of this event. By being major sponsors we have been allocated a number of free entries for the event. It would be great to see as many students and parents  as possible supporting this event. It is a 5km route and participants can run or walk as quickly or as slowly as they wish. The important thing is to participate, have a fun morning as a school community and in turn support various charities in Vietnam.

The school is producing special BIS Hanoi T-shirts and water bottles for us to use at the event and these will be available at the special subsidised price of 150,000VND/each piece. Please indicate on the registration whether you would like one of these T-Shirts and water bottles.

You can come to school to collect the T-shirt and watter bottle during the week from 17th October to 3rd November. If you wish to participate please register through the form below:

Further information regarding the BBGV can be found at http://bbgv.org/.

We look forward to seeing you on 5th November at Ecopark!
