Enjoy a well-earned and well deserved holiday!

End of Year Message from Our Head of Primary | BIS Hanoi-enjoy-a-well-earned-and-well-deserved-holiday-_DSC0519
Enjoy a well-earned and well deserved holiday!

It has been an incredible first term for me here at BIS Hanoi and I would like to say what an amazing school community we have. Thank you all for making me, and my family, feel so welcome. Sitting in our end of year assembly I felt very proud thinking about the achievements of this term. International Week, Book Week, House Sports, Music performances to name a few and this is in addition to all the progress our students have made through their hard work and perseverance this term.

Early Years Winter Show

On Tuesday morning in EYC we were treated to a musical show ‘It’s going to be a Crackin’ Christmas’ from Foundation 1,2,3 and Year 1 children. It was lovely to see the hall packed full of parents and family enjoying this winter performance. The children sang beautifully, spoke clearly and looked wonderful in their costumes and its certainly began to get us in the festive mood. Well done all those involved - it certainly was a crackin’ show!

Phase 2 Exhibition
Being so close to the end of term didn’t stop our Phase 2 team who we being ambitious and showcased all the hard work the children have been doing throughout the term in their Phase 2 Exhibition.  Puppet shows of the Tiger Who Came to Tea, Talk4Writing performances and Dinosaur Top Trumps to name a few of the highlights on Thursday morning. It was wonderful to see how proud our students were of their learning and teaching others; not only does this deepen their understanding but it is a wonderful celebration of their achievements. Well done children you should be feeling very proud of yourselves.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for your continued support this term, have a relaxing holiday and I look forward to seeing you all again in the New Year. Happy Holidays from the Primary Team.
