Each class had tour guides to lead parents, other students and adults around the corridors of Year 5 to demonstrate their collaborated art of the planets, own interpretations of Peter Thorpe Abstract art and examples of their persuasive letters to convince Mr. Rowlands to start a Space Camp.

Then, within each class room, groups of children became the experts. They explained their learning through demonstrations, activities and presentations. Each child practised their speaking and listening skills to engage their audience and show their understandings. The buzz in the Year 5 corridor was amazing. Many parents commented and said that they enjoyed the activities and the quizzes!

Year 5 would like to thank all who came to join us celebrate our learning!

Ms Sally Tong, Year 5 Teacher & IPC Coordinator
