    Victoria Willson

    EAL Leader

    Victoria Willson

    Victoria has been working at BIS Hanoi since August 2015 and is the current Primary EAL leader. Previous to this she taught at Hanoi International School in Hanoi and also in London and Japan. 

    Victoria studied Evolutionary Anthropology at The University of Liverpool and is keen to introduce different cultures to the children she teaches.

    While living in London she also volunteered with the children’s charity Chance UK and mentored disadvantaged children.

    Thushani Lovatt

    EAL Teacher

    Thushani Lovatt

    Thushani graduated from Southampton University with a Masters in Geography. She then worked in London for 7 years, within the Digital Marketing and Account Management space. Thushani then took a year out and travelled around Asia, where she taught English in the Philippines. Once back in London, Thushani spent several months working in Swaffield Primary School and has now joined the EAL department. When she is not teaching, Thushani enjoys travelling and exploring new countries, as well as photography and netball.

    Jack Swanson

    Jack Swanson

    Jack previously worked for BIS as an Academic English Intern in Ho Chi Minh City. He also has experience working in England at Manor Lodge Primary School. He graduated from The University of Liverpool with a degree in Philosophy, a subject that he still retains a keen interest in. Outside of teaching and Philosophy, his main passion is writing; he has recently completed an MA in Creative Writing and had a short story published. He is also an avid reader and keen footballer.
