This week's basketball fixture reports

Our girls and boys teams were in action again this week against ISHCMC!

Boys Basketball Report

On Wednesday 14th October 2015, the U11 Boys Basketball Team played against ISHCMC. Our team played well showing particular strengths in defence. Bryce, Y5I, performed effective lay ups and prolific shooting. Oliver Y6I executed two good steals adding four points to the score for BIS. With the boys’ perseverance during the training practices, all of the defence and offense formations are paying off. The whole team had a great time during the game. BIS U11 Boys Basketball Team winning the game with 9-3 points.

Congratulations to the whole team; Bryce, Hyun Soo, Sung Soo, York, Ethan, Matthew, Oliver, Bill, Jackson and Geon Hee. Keep up the good work, we are proud of you!

Our next game will be against AIS Thu Thiem Campus on 28th October 2015.

Girls Basketball Report

On Wednesday 14th October BIS Girls Basketball Team played a home game against ISHCMC. Unfortunately BIS lost 23-13 points, however it was a much better game than our first two matches of the season. The opposition were extremely fast and strong, challenging us on defence and offence throughout the entire game. Despite the loss, we are becoming stronger as a team and our skills are enhancing each week from training practices and the matches.

Well done to the whole team; Hannah, Luxe, Nini, Sarah, Suzanne, Dieu Linh, Ji Hee, Zara, Lenisha and Biff.

Nini Pham, Year 6 Student
