Community Service Rep: Position Available

In March 2014, I had the pleasure to join the community service project team as TX parent rep. I now feel it’s time to give another parent the opportunity to join the team and discover the amazing work teachers, staff members, students and parent are doing among the various community projects. It’s not a position which will take a lot of your time, your role will mainly be to liaise between TX and the 2 other campuses during meetings. It’s about 4 to 5 meetings a year for a duration of one hour. They mostly happened at the AP2 campus. You’ll be assisting Ms Heather from TX and you will advertise and feedback on our TX parent corner about the upcoming community activities.  If you want to know more before signing up, please speak with Ms Heather.  I am also available to answer your questions.

Class Rep.

Thank you to the 8 parents who already have committed to be a Class Representative; we will soon be in touch with you.

We still need 10 class reps, the available position are:

  • Year 5T and 5X

  • Year 3T and 3X

  • Year 1T and 1X

  • F2T and F2X

  • F1T and F1X

On October 28th, after the Morning Coffee (International week preparation) we’ll have a meeting with Mr Ian and Ms Mary on the role of a class rep at TX.  The class rep handbook will be explained and you’ll see examples of the class rep introduction letter and the parents' contact details consent form.

What's coming next?

upcomingeventsOct2015

International week will be here soon, but what’s coming after? Take a glimpse at the program above :) And don’t forget, it will happen if we all join forces to make it come true. The school fête is one big project and will be a first at TX. The children will love it. EYFS already have a great morning of fun, this time let's have one for all children and the community. We need a lot of support from parents for this one. Other projects are smaller and less time consuming. Pick one!

Once all committees have enough members, a meeting will be organised and the committees will start working on the project. For the Year 6 graduation, the TX committee will work with the AP1 committee.

Sign up online or on the parents' board in the foyer: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d4dafaa29a4ff2-committees

Enjoy the break,

Anne on behalf of the Parent Group
