Meet The New Teachers: Ms Annabelle

Our new Music Intern has come directly from University to join us here at the An Phu Primary Campus.  Annabelle has settled in extremely well and we are very lucky to have such a talented musician to join Ms Beth and Ms Fran.  Ms Annabelle shared with us, how she is settling into life in Vietnam.

Pick the first 3 words you think of when I say Vietnam

Humid, Scenic, Diverse

What are your first impressions of BIS?

The school was so large and it felt like I’d never find my way around all the corridors! The existing staff were all so welcoming and were often checking in on the new starters to make sure we were settling in.

What new experience have you had since you arrived in Vietnam?

Getting fitted for an áo dài for Moon Festival.

If you were writing a postcard to friends back home, what would it say?

Greetings from Ho Chi Minh City! It’s been an incredibly busy month so far and I am still getting to know the area, which involves a lot of walking around in the heat trying to find the best stores to buy food and all the essentials. Hope you don’t get too cold during this UK winter!
