Last Saturday the TX EYFS families broke their usual weekend routine to come into school for the annual EYFS Family Morning. The teachers, TAs and parents all came together to provide a wide range of fun activities for the youngest members of our school community. The children could take part in fishing, face painting, play-dough modeling, messy play and more! There was also a family art project activity that had been designed for parents and children to join together to create something special that they could display at home.
To prepare for the event the children had been busy baking both sweet and savoury snacks to sell on the day. Parents also kindly donated fruits for juicing, sandwiches, yoghurts and popcorn. As a milepost we raised 5.84million VND for our community partner Animal Rescue and Care (ARC). ARC is an animal rescue center that works with our EYFS children to teach them about animal care and how to approach dogs and cats safely. The money raised will allow each year group to adopt an animal. This means that the children will receive regular updates about their chosen animal and notices about how the money is supporting them. Keep your eyes on your class blogs for further information about this.
A big thank you to the parents and carers that helped on the day with activities and selling food and drink. There was a fantastic atmosphere and it was wonderful to see so many parents and children. We hope that everyone that attended had as much fun as we did!
