A New Addition To The Library A message from the chair of the Library Student Leaders, Debbie Tran of An Phu Secondary Campus. She introduces the newest addition to the library, which is the eBook collection, along with what it is, how to use it and a tutorial to downloading the app.

On the 21^st of November, British International School, HCMC, introduced the use of eBooks to the library’s online version. Students can borrow the books online – during the school holidays, or during school days. This allows the students the access of the library everywhere, and every day.

Greetings, students and parents of BIS HCMC. This is your student leader from An Phu Secondary, Debbie Tran. I would like to introduce you to the eBook library, which allows you to read and borrow books online through the Destiny Discover app. The eBooks are electronic books which students can use through their devices, i.e. laptops, phones or iPads, and access through their school logins.

Over the course of the first term of the new academic year, the leadership role of Student Library Leaders in An Phu Secondary has been introduced. The team of Student Library Leaders have been working on the Destiny Discover app, as well as in the past week, teaching and answering the questions from students on how to download the app, or how to use it. The titles offered have different genres, which are suitable for all ages – these range from fiction books to non-fiction books. The students can also access the website for the eBooks library from the Destiny Library website, and there is a button that says “Follett Shelf” which will direct you to the Destiny Library.
