U14 Boys Football Match Report 25/02/16

U14 Boys Football beat ISHCMC comfortably at home

BIS started the game positively, with the opposition keeper forced into making a string of excellent saves. The goal BIS deserved did eventually come when Ryan finished a great passage of play by burying the ball in the bottom left corner.

ISCHMC started to press but  this left gaps in their defence. BIS soon found another goal with Max Jencks this time adding his name to the score sheet. Two goals then followed in quick concession, Jencks adding his second against his old school team, and another Ryan effort made it 4-0 at half time.

The team line was altered at half time, with squad players getting the chance to impress before next week’s Championship competition. The much changed line did come under more pressure but stood strong, with Steven making good saves. Nick Gilmore, who produced another man of the match performance, made it 5-0 when he launched a speculative effort from his own half.

ISCHMC got a late consolation goal right before the final whistle but Max J answered with a flourish and by getting his hat trick to make the final score 6-1 to BIS.
