On the 1st March 2016, the British International School HCMC will be hosting the Colleges that Change Lives tour.
”Changing lives. One student at a time”
The Colleges that Change Lives story began in 1996 when a book by the same name, written by Loren Pope, was published. Loren Pope, a long time student advocate and independent college counsellor sought to challenge and change the way people thought about college by dispelling popular myths and college choices. The colleges featured in his book, have since begun working together to further promote this philosophy of a student-centred college search.
The CTCL is an advocate for Liberal Arts education, and each of the member schools offers a quality Liberal Arts education. Science Technology Engineering Mathematics [STEM] is intrinsically part of this Liberal Arts education. CTCL is seen as a leading advocate on the subject of higher education access. Their philosophy encourages students to frame their college search beyond ratings and rankings.
We are excited to host this visit on our campus. Below is a list of the colleges who will be visiting BIS on March 1 2016.
