The children of Milepost 1 were sensational in their performance this holiday season, in the production of “Gnome Alone.” The story began in Santa’s Workshop where the Christmas elves and fairies were busy helping Santa get ready to deliver presents to children all around the world.

Everyone was keen to help out, including Norman Gnome. Unfortunately, Santa seemed to be choosing everyone except Norman to do all of the important jobs leading up to Christmas and he is left feeling disappointed and lonely. Even when his friends, the clowns, try to cheer him up, it was no good. Until… Santa needed help with the most important job of all, delivering the presents! All of the elves and fairies were too exhausted from their preparations and Norman Gnome was finally chosen and saves the day. “Hooray for Norman Gnome!’
Milepost 1 students really shone in this impressive production that put everyone in the holiday spirit! The festive show was enjoyed by parents, all BIS HCMC students, and the Year 1 and Year 2 Community Partners from Thien Phuoc Foster Home and Anh Minh School. Well done, boys and girls! You are all stars!
