SISAC X-Country City Champs!

Teamwork and school spirit shone through as we achieved some outstanding results from all of our teams at the Cross Country City Champs!

  • British International School, HCMC, Cross Country City Championship Team
  • Cross Country City Championships
  • Cross Country City Championships

For the SISAC cross country, our team was running at the Saigon Golf Course in District 7. The U19 boys and girls had to run 4.4 kilometres and the U14s ran 3.3 km.

We had outstanding results from all of our teams. Both U19 teams overall got 1st place. We had a really good course to run on, it was a moderately flat and very diverse course. As the U19 boys and girls ran together, most of the U19  boys were together and managed to get a good start and ran really well right through to the end. The U19 girls also ran extremely well, although they were more separated while running, they still managed to end strongly to get first place.

In the U14s, the U14 boys got 1st place and the girls got 2nd place. The U14 boys also ran a very good race, ending with extremely positive results. Finally the U14 girls did a great job, and ran their hardest throughout the race.

I was truly amazed by the school spirit! Everyone ran not only to get a good place, but for their team and their school. It was clearly obvious that everyone had put all their effort and energy into the race. That with some amazing teamwork and people support each other, I believe is the main factor of our success at the SISAC cross country.
