Year 5 Residential Trip to Hoi An

Our Year 5s returned from their Hoi An residential yesterday afternoon. Excitement, enthusiasm and plenty of smiles were evident even through the children’s sleepy eyes.

Throughout the week the children (and staff!) have taken part in a huge range of activities, which they have all responded to positively. They have tried new things, come out of their comfort zones and enjoyed the adventure along the way!

Highlights of the trip included making lanterns, testing out our bartering skills in a scavenger hunt across town and abseiling down a 25 metre drop at Marble Mountain.

The children demonstrated amazing team work and fabulous positive attitudes. Well done Year 5- we are very proud of you!

More photos from the week can be found on the class blogs, and parents of children in Year 5 are invited to hear more about the trip next Friday at the class assembly, which will start at 8am in the gym.
