RMIT Basketball Open Tournament 2017

British International School, HCMC, has a long history of being ambitious for our students and asking them to embrace the philosophy for themselves, and they do, in spades. Last week, we challenged our Senior Boys Basketball to do just that as they entered the RMIT Vietnam Open Basketball Tournament.

The basketball tournament at RMIT was a thrilling yet challenging experience as we played against teams from the university basketball league. Nonetheless, we did better than expected, managing to win 2 out of our 4 games.

We played exceptionally well as a team, and everyone was in unison. Apart from the competitiveness we were cheering, talking to each other, and supporting one another. Overall even though we did not make the finals, we had fun, and gained more experience, and as a result will strengthen the team in preparation for next years tournament.
