Congratulations to students on fantastic IB Diploma results

British International School, HCMC, students have once again achieved formidable results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. British International School, HCMC’s average score is nearly 7 points higher than the IB global average, widening the gap between ourselves and other IB schools around the world.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, commonly referred to as the IBDP, is a two-year education programme for students age 16-19. The programme is a widely accepted and recognised qualification for entry into higher education and universities worldwide. • Our students' average score in the IB Diploma was 36.4, significantly ahead of the 2017 global average of 29.9 points.
• 28.58% of our students achieved 40 points and above.  This is the level of attainment required to gain admission to the world's elite universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford.
• Five of our students scored an almost perfect score of 44 points out of a possible 45. This is an incredible achievement.

We would like to commend our teachers for another outstanding year. Their commitment to our students and school is what drives these exceptional academic results.
