Update

The BBGV Fun Run was once again a fantastic event with hundreds of children, parents, teachers and friends of the BIS community coming out in force to show their support for this wonderful charity fundraiser.

On behalf of BBGV we would like to  express our sincere appreciation to all those who participated for making the 17th Fun Run for Charity successful. Over 10,000 runners and walkers participated to raise a total gross amount of approximately 1,000,000,000 VND to support local Vietnamese charities. The charity fund will be allocated to charities over the coming year, helping to improve the lives of many across Vietnam.

And a huge congratulations to our winners! Well done to everyone who took part but a special well done to our amazing BIS students (and Mr Spalton of course!) who were the first to cross the finish line!

Special congratulations to 1st Sid Gai, 2nd Brendan Nguyen and 3rd Matthew Grimshaw.

About BBGV Charity Fun Run

This annual event allows you to have fun with your friends and family and also participate in an event which raises much needed funding for disadvantaged people throughout Vietnam.

Since the first Fun Run took place in 2000 the BBGV has raised almost 9 billion VND to benefit charities across Vietnam. Over the years, 85,000 participants have taken part in this high profile event.

This year they expect around 10,000 runners (and walkers!) to take part and their aim is to raise 1 billion VND that will support charitable Vietnamese causes. They give priority to projects which meet the needs of disadvantaged children and the elderly and also to projects that have an educational dimension.
