After teaching for three years at a sixth form college in Cambridge, UK, Cathy wanted to explore the international teaching scene for a ‘few’ years.  Over the following eleven years, she has taught at international schools in Colombia, Egypt, Malaysia and most recently, at Harrow International School Beijing.  Her career passions include promoting community service opportunities for students and getting involved in the International Award.  She enjoys yoga, Pilates, and photography and more recently, has started running.  She came to Vietnam to teach at BIS in 2014 with her husband, Alan, and daughter, Lyra.
