Staff Profile: Thomas Zehmeister

Thomas Zehmeister

Teacher of Computing

BComp (Hons) - University of Tasmania, Australia

BTeach (Secondary Science and Computing) - University of Tasmania, Australia

Thomas joined BIS in 2016. Prior to this he had taught Computer Science in several countries over a 7 year period. He started teaching at the University of Tasmania in 2004 moving then to Guilford Young College, Australia. In 2010 he joined Hyeongguk High School in South Korea which was followed most recently by two years teaching Cambridge Computer Science in an International school setting in HCMC. His enjoyment and study of behavioural science and psychology led to his interest in Artificial Intelligence which became the focus of his postgraduate thesis. Thomas enjoys programming, physics, logic and philosophy as well as reading and board games.
