Sara joined BIS in August 2016.  Before moving to Vietnam she spent 3 years teaching Year 1 at the British School of Nanjing. Sara is originally from New Zealand, which is where her passion for teaching early years began.  She spent 3 years teaching F2 and F3 in Wanaka.  During this time Sara worked as a mentor alongside teachers working towards full registration.

Sara loves spending time with her family in the outdoors and travelling. She is an enthusiastic skier and a keen baker. Sara enjoys gardening, although her fingers are not particularly green, she does love a challenge!
