Prefect Team

Prefects are a selected group of Sixth Form students who embody the aide memoire and promote the school mission in all of their interactions. They are expected to be positive role models for the student body by maintaining high standards of behaviour, uniform, punctuality and attendance, organisation and time-management.

Roles:

  • Positive role model and supportive member of the Prefect team by attending school organised events and undertaking in duties around the school during break/ lunchtimes

  • Representative of British International School, Ho Chi Minh City by adhering to school rules and respecting school ethos. Prefects also guide tours for new students and parents during orientation day

  • Project leader within the Sixth Form by organising short and long-term projects which assists the lives of the students such as the graduation trip, Yearbook and the Year 12 Induction Day

  • Pastoral Prefect by leading classroom activities for the younger students in the Secondary to promote intra-school relationship
