Year 8 - BIS HCMC

This four night trip to beautiful Dalat is eagerly anticipated by our Year 8 students. A range of physical, creative and thrilling activities are planned throughout the beautiful hill sides and forests overlooking Dalat. Whether it is zip-lining across a lake, hiking up Lang Biang Mountain, building rafts, camping by Tuyen Lam Lake the students on this trip get to challenge themselves and build incredible team spirit and friendships. Also embedded into this trip is a visit by one of our community service partners from the Hearing Impaired School who join the students for some of the team building experiences. Some of our students share their memorable moments of their trip below:

"The Talent Show and Disco because everyone enjoyed themselves, even the teachers – dancing, singing, laughing; we did it together. That moment makes me feel like Year 8 is another family. I had the best time."
Kelly Tran, 8B

"The raft building because we had to work as a team. We worked really well together and I met some people who I didn’t really know who are pretty close friends now."
Cielo Miguel, 8I

"Meeting the Hearing Impaired children because I was interested in all of their hand signals when they have conversations with each other. Furthermore, one boy, about 9 years old, stood out to me because we could do gymnastic tricks together."
Gus Stevenson, 8B
