Supporting victims of floods in Serbia

Severe floods have struck people in Serbia these days, leaving thousands of children homeless, without food, water, warm and dry clothes.

Severe floods have struck people in Serbia these days, leaving thousands of children homeless, without food, water, warm and dry clothes. Roads and bridges are flooded, schools and kindergartens have been shut down, 100,000 homes in Serbia left without power, while rain-swollen rivers and surging water course through towns and villages, overflowing across streets into homes, causing landslides and other disasters.

A letter went out to all the parents this week asking them to donate clothes, blankets, food, dipers and other things that would be of great use to the victims. We have received numerous packages and are very greatful for parents' support.

On Friday 23 May we are organising a bake sale. All the money raised will go to the victims of floods. We hope you will buy cakes and enjoy them for a good cause.
