My Child's Health - Parent Seminar on Wednesday 28 May 09.00 - 10.30 in the Dining Hall

The seminar will be run by some of Warsaw’s top pediatric specialists. During the seminar, doctors and physiotherapists from the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Clinic Carolina Medical Center will present issues related to the development of children, the state of their health, sports activities and possible injuries.

The main topics that will be addressed:

Ways to assess posture and gait on the platform AMCube.

The results of screening of children involved in sport compared to those who do not practice any sport.

The most frequent injuries seen in children and propositions on how to deal with them.

 

During the meeting, experts will try to also answer frequently asked questions:

How can I support my child to have good posture as they grow?

How do I know there is a problem with my child’s back/ knees /feet etc?

If my child plays a lot of sport, how can I help him/her prevent injuries?

Are there exersises my child can do to improve or prevent future problems with bones and joints?

What should I have at home in order to give appropriate help if my child is hurt?

 

The seminar will be presented by Dr Urszula Zdanowicz, Dr Michał Drwięga, mgr Dariusz Straszewski and mgr Izabela Awerczuk.
