LEAP News 4

Good afternoon

I would like to take the opportunity to announce that Mr Szewczak's football club on Wednesday is now available to Y5 and Y6 girls.  If your son/daughter is interested, then please inform their class teacher so that your child's name can be added to the football club register.

I would also like to advertise the drama club that is available to Secondary school students on Wednesday at 4pm.  It is lead by Orina Krajewska and Anna Kozka and by way of introduction I asked them to provide a brief history of their career so far.

In 2009, Orina graduated acting from London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA). After graduation, she returned from London to Warsaw and got involved with ‘Song of the Goat’ theater from Wroclaw. In the season 2012/2013 she worked with Atlantis Theatre on Royal Castle in Warsaw, where she participated in performances for young people. Viewers associate Orina with the show TVP1 "Rozlewisko" (role: Agata). Orina also leads theater classes for children and teaches English.

Anna graduated from the acting department at the Ludwik Solski Academy of Dramatic Arts in Wroclaw. After graduation, she moved to Warsaw where she currently works with several theaters including Teatr Capitol "The Little Princess". Anna has also appeared in the TV series: "Zlotopolscy" "Klan", "Na Wspólnej" and earned her popularity with the role of Nicola in the series “Pierwsza miłość”.

The British School, Warsaw's external clubs are organised by professional individuals and these two ladies are no exception.  Please encourage your child to get involved and try some acting under their expert guidance.

Happy LEAPing
